Coco Safar Launches World’s First Non-Alcoholic Botanical Micro-Brewery

In an unprecedented move, Coco Safar unveiled the world’s first alcohol-free botanical micro-brewery in four refreshingly new non-alcoholic, house-brewed drinks at the Sea Point flagship store. These drinks are made completely from natural botanical ingredients and South African ‘antioxidant superfood’ – rooibos.

Coco Safar’s signature Botanical Couture Collection of beverages, micro-brewed on-site in Sea Point, Cape Town, consists of a rich and refreshing Red Rooibos Cold Brew, a subtle and herbaceous Green Rooibos Cold Brew, an elegant and invigorating Coffee-Citrus Cold Brew and a complex and timeless Rooibos-Infused Tonic Water. All these beverages are available on-tap and for purchase in beautifully designed copper-foiled Coco Safar bottles, which also comes in a convenient 4-pack bottle carrier.

The polyphenols in rooibos have proven to be anti-carcinogenic, anti-inflammatory and anti-viral, and is one of the most exciting ingredients in Coco Safar’s new beverage line. Rooibos is also rich in many minerals such as calcium, magnesium and fluoride which all promote optimal bone health and is also very low in tannins, which means it is the perfect drink to calm nerves and to ensure a good sleep.

The founders of the brand took a bold decision to not only develop a bespoke cold brew coffee and rooibos beverage line, but to also create a street-level in-house botanical micro-brewery to deliver a signature collection of lightly sparkling bottled drinks that can now be enjoyed at home, and soon in world-class 5-star hospitality establishments across Africa.

The Coco Safar botanical micro-brewery is situated at its new flagship store, accessible at street-level at the new Artem Galleria, 277 Main Road Sea Point, Cape Town, and has plenty of secure onsite parking available.
