There’s nothing that I love more than a new, trendy fashion boutique in Cape Town, and I don’t know if it’s just me but there’s something about Carla Zara that reminds me of the Dash boutiques we always see on Keeping Up With The Kardashians (think it could be the chic white and black colour scheme).
I had the wonderful opportunity on Saturday to meet Carla herself and got a walk through tour of her boutique.
Since launching her online store in November last year, Carla has decided to make Sea Point her fashion home. The store is perfectly located in the area’s central hub, The Point, which makes it easily accessible to the local fashionistas. Stocking clothes hand-picked by Carla herself, she aims to appeal to every kind of woman, with clothes ranging from sophisticated blouses to baggy denim jeans.
With years of experience, Carla has an eye for quality and beauty, “My selection process involves studying and being up to date with the current and future season trends.” says Carla, “I visit many different suppliers to scope out seasonal trends and to create collections in which each piece can be collaborated to make an outfit.”
Following the success of her online store, Carla Zara has fast made a name for herself in Cape Town’s fashion scene and hopes to further grow her brand through the establishment of the store. With prices ranging from R150-R850 she caters not only for every body, but for every pocket, making every Carla Zara item a good buy.
For the full Carla Zara experience, visit her online store at www.carlazara.com or pop by the new store and spoil yourself.
I loved this warm and soft Carla Zara Boxy Kimono Pocket Cardigan that I fitted on (it kinda reminds me of this one Kim K wore a while back). All Carla’s clothes are super soft, you need to feel how soft and comfy the jeans are, and if you pop in be sure to browse through her sales section for great prices on gorgeous clothes.
